Qualifications
I qualified with a Diploma in Life Coaching with Coaching and Mentoring International in 2006 and I then went on to gain an ICF (International Coaching Federation) ACC Accreditation in 2013.
Successful coaching for me is about honest reflection, insight and new thinking. A good coach does not interfere but is able to sit quietly and allow a person to explore the many avenues of change available to them.
Areas of coaching
I have coached clients in a multitude of areas but here are some of the key themes:
- Performance and achievement of goals
- Conflict of values
- Career progression
- Presence and personal impact
- Exploring purpose and meaning in life
- Setting clear boundaries
- Communicating with vision
- Relationship issues
- Work/life balance
- Focus and discipline
- Stress management
- Financial matters
- Emotional and spiritual wellbeing
- Personal growth and authenticity
- Physical environment
Life transforming
Often people will come to me not really knowing what the issue is but that something isn’t right with their life right now - and then we unravel the goals together.
The secret of coaching is a combination of a trusting relationship with the coachee and a readiness from within the coachee for change.
I meet with coaching clients in a confidential space on-site at their organisation or at my home in Gamlingay near Cambridge.
Coaching can be life-transforming and challenging and I would recommend that you arrange a taster session with me first to see if it’s right for you.
